यज्ञे तपसि दाने चस्थितिः सदिति चोच्यते।कर्म चैव तदर्थीयंसदित्येवाभिधीयते॥॥ १७.२७ ॥
yajñe tapasi dāne ca sthitiḥ sad iti cocyate / karma caiva tad-arthīyaṁ sad ity evābhidhīyate

To stay steady in yajña, in tapas and in giving is also called ‘Sat’; and an act done for the sake of that is truly called ‘Sat’.
